JOOYLAND Terms and Conditions

These terms are the agreement between you and JOOYLAND. By creating a membership you agree to them. We have kept them short and in plain words on purpose.

Your membership
You must be 18 or older to create a membership. A membership is created and controlled by an adult.
A parent may create a membership on behalf of their own child. The parent holds that account and is responsible for it.
You give us true information when you sign up, and you keep your phone and your account secure. What happens on your account is your responsibility.
Subscription
JOOYLAND is a paid subscription. It is billed by the app store you bought it from, on the terms shown to you before you buy. Cancelling is done in the app store, and cancelling stops future billing.
There is no advertising in JOOYLAND and there never will be.
What you record is yours
The photos, videos, recordings and words you put into JOOYLAND belong to you. We do not claim ownership of them and we do not sell them.
You give us permission to store and move your content only so far as it takes to run the service for you and to deliver what you have chosen to share with the person you are bonded with. Nothing more.
Text messages
By entering your mobile number in the app you agree to receive text messages from JOOYLAND.
There are two kinds, and both are a direct response to something you just did:
- A verification code, when you enter your own number while setting up your membership.
- An invitation, when you choose to invite someone you know.
Message frequency: one message per action you take. There are no recurring messages, and we never send marketing or promotional messages.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to receive no further messages. Reply HELP for help.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Our privacy policy explains what we do with your number. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Only invite people who have said yes
When you invite someone, you are telling us that person has agreed to hear from you. Do not enter a number for a person who has not.
What you agree not to do
- Use JOOYLAND to harass, threaten, or harm anyone.
- Upload anything unlawful, or anything involving the abuse of a child.
- Try to break, copy, resell, or reverse engineer the service.
- Use JOOYLAND on behalf of someone who has not asked you to.
Ending it
You may stop your membership at any time. We may suspend or end a membership that breaks these terms or the law.
If your membership ends, tell us and we will remove your record from our systems. What is on your own phone is yours to keep or delete.
The service as it is
JOOYLAND is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we are not responsible for loss that follows from using it, as far as the law allows.
Keep your own copies of anything you cannot bear to lose.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top, and continuing to use JOOYLAND means the updated terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States.
